The Whole Hog was, until 1925, the town cottage hospital, since then it has been a gas showroom and a cafe/restaurant before becoming licensed premises.

The Whole Hog has been listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since 2000 and been a winner of ‘North Wiltshire CAMRA pub of the year’. The bar serves four regular beers plus a guest beer that changes often. A real local draught cider is available as are a wide range of lagers. There is an extensive wine list offering good quality wines at realistic prices either by the glass or bottle.

The bar offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors to the town.
